About the Ghost Writers

PAT: Pat Bussard is the founder of The Ghost Writers (GW). Part of the mission of the team is to help preserve stories of paranormal significance, so that they are not lost over time.
As a former journalist, as well as an author, her published works have woven words between the covers and across the pages of magazines, books, and newspapers. Her column HAUNTED AMERICA is a regular feature in Ghost Voices Magazine, the premier magazine in the U.K. focusing on ghosts and haunting activity. She also writes an article for The Loafer, an arts and entertainment magazine. Her column titled WEIRD WORLD, focuses on the people and issues impacting the world (or the other world) of the paranormal. Her book in this nonfiction vein is set for publication later this year.
In addition to the hundreds of nonfiction articles and stories published under her byline, she is also gaining a reputation as a successful horror fiction author. Her story "Ladies Man" was recently published in the House of Horrors' anthology A Pint of Bloody Fiction. "Insomnia" has just been published in Pill Hill Press' Daily Bites of Flesh 2011.
As fond as she is of the written word, she is in demand as a paranormal conference speaker. Pat recently presented at The Great Appalachian Spook Show in McConnelsville, OH, and VA ParaQuest, in Lynchburg, VA. She and Stephanie are set to presented at the The Great Appalachian Spook Show in the spring of 2012.
She holds a Master of Science degree from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA. She has also completed postgraduate studies in communication and higher education administration, from Radford University and Virginia Tech, respectively, and is a member of the International High IQ Society.
She grew up in a house rife with paranormal activity and has a healthy respect and compassion for individuals who are undergoing the same type of experience.
Writing is a major component of her career, as well as a hobby. Constantine is a pen name of the Ghost Writers founder.

STEPHANIE: Stephanie Bussard is a college student who has had an interest in the paranormal since she was a small child.
She is also a talented artist. Steph is currently completing an apprenticeship for certification in tattoo art.
Steph has been on the docket to speak at several conventions including the Haunted Horrors Convention in Kingsport, TN, and ScareFest in Lexington, KY.
She is what many people refer to as a sensitive. Her mother and grandmother had the gift of second sight and Stephanie carries on that family tradition. She has a great sense of adventure and is a valued member of the team.

BILLY: Billy Lyons is the newest member of The Ghost Writers. He possesses both B.A. and M.A. degrees in Psychology from The Citadel and George Mason University, respectively.
In his professional life, Billy has worked in the fields of mental health and software usability engineering. Deciding on the need for a change of career, he went back to college and earned an A.A.S. degree in Nursing and Health Technolgy from Southwest Virginia Community College. He is currently employed as a Registered Nurse at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
Although paranormal research is a new endeavor to Billy, he is well-versed in scientific research and experimental design. A life-long enthusiast of all things supernatural, Billy names Hans Holzer as one of many influences. "I remember reading Holzer's investigation into the Amityville Horror case before I started Junior High and have been hooked ever since. I am so excited to have met The Ghost Writers and to be able to join them in what I am sure will be many terrific and exciting adventures."
Billy and his brother Chuck live in a home he freely admits has been haunted since his family moved there in the early 1980s.
ALEX: Alex Walsh is an accomplished musician who has a deep interest in the paranormal. In his role as a member of The Ghost Writers, he brings his expertise as an audio technician to the skill set of the team members.
Alex serves as the EVP Specialist for the GW.
Associate Investigators

MARTY: Marty has had many encounters with the paranormal. Her experiences with the other side date back to when she was a small child. She is the most recent in her line of women who have been gifted with second sight and is also known as a spiritual healer.
She is an avid reader and gifted speaker.
Marty serves as our West Virginia regional coordinator.

PAM: Although everyone on the Ghost Writers team approaches evidence from a haunting or other paranormal event very cautiously, Pam serves as our resident skeptic.
She is also an excellent photographer and contributes much to the investigations in which she participates. Pam is shown pictured during a recent investigation of the bunkers/igloos where the Mothman was spotted on November 16, 1966, Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
